Happy Hour at Home

With the Great (Pandemic-Induced) Lockdown of 2020 still in effect, I've been enjoying an occasional glass of sangria at my favorite local bar---my back porch. One afternoon, a particularly good sangria inspired me to create a character-based wine bottle. After a few sketches, Maria Sangria emerged. Later, I decided Maria needed a few more friends, so Burton Bourbon and Virginia Gin-Yeah came on board. These bottle characters were so fun to create, and building their features gave me an opportunity to practice my illustration and graphic design skills. I haven't quite decided on a definitive setting for these characters, but it's fun coming up with possible ideas. An unexpected Photoshop glitch even led to a happy accident that resulted in a colorful variation. Stay tuned for future updates (and stay safe and healthy at home!)
